Dr. Silvy Akrawe is a board-eligible plastic surgeon joining Star Plastic Surgery, where she will be working alongside Dr. Elan Reisin. With a strong foundation in complex surgical care and advanced training in plastic surgery, she approaches her work with precision, dedication, and an artistic sensibility. She focuses on aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body, as well as non-surgical treatments including injectables.
Dr. Akrawe earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at Ascension Providence Hospital. She subsequently achieved board certification through the American Board of Surgery, developing a strong clinical foundation rooted in safety and comprehensive patient care.
She completed her plastic surgery fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital, where she trained extensively in a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. During this time, she developed a particular interest in aesthetic surgery, including facial rejuvenation, breast surgery, body contouring, and injectable treatments, with a focus on achieving natural, balanced outcomes tailored to each patient.
