Avéli™
Targeted Cellulite Reduction for Smoother, Firmer Skin
What Is Avéli™?
Avéli™ is an FDA-cleared, minimally invasive procedure designed to reduce the appearance of cellulite on the buttocks and thighs.
Unlike topical treatments or temporary solutions, Avéli™ addresses cellulite at its structural root by targeting the fibrous bands (septa) beneath the skin that cause dimpling. By precisely releasing these bands, Avéli™ allows the skin to smooth out, resulting in a more even and toned appearance.

Understanding the Avéli™ Procedure
Avéli™ is performed in-office and typically takes about an hour. The procedure involves the following steps:
1. Anesthesia:
Local anesthesia is administered to ensure comfort throughout the procedure.
2. Targeting Cellulite:
Using a specialized handheld device equipped with a light-guided mechanism, your provider identifies and targets the specific fibrous bands causing cellulite.
3. Releasing the Bands:
Once identified, the device precisely releases the targeted bands, allowing the skin to lift and smooth out.
Avéli™ Recovery – What to Expect
Recovery from Avéli™ is generally quick and straightforward, with minimal disruption to daily life.
Immediately after the procedure, patients may experience mild discomfort, bruising, or swelling at the treatment sites. It is also common to notice a small amount of clear or pink fluid leaking from the insertion points for the first 24 to 48 hours. To support healing and reduce swelling, compression garments such as tight leggings or Spanx should be worn consistently as directed by your provider.
During the first few days, most patients are able to return to their normal activities within 1 to 2 days. However, it is important to avoid strenuous activities—including cardio exercises and strength training—for at least the first two weeks. Continued use of compression garments is essential during this period to aid in the healing process and optimize results.
In the long term, bruising and tenderness typically subside within 30 days. Final results often become visible around the one-month mark, with continued skin improvement over time as healing progresses. For best outcomes, it is essential to follow your provider’s post-procedure care instructions and attend any recommended follow-up appointments.
